June 17: What I've been working on & Quick update
Working more hours the last week and this week. Checking account loves this, my body does not. Just exhausted. Things made worse by the problem at the nuclear plant that manufactures the material we use for the nuclear stress tests. They had some sort of meltdown--really. Schedule very weird.
For the last couple of months I was working on a special project. Did an entire service for my UU Fellowship on Illness & Spirituality. First time I've talked publicly about the emotional and spiritual aspects of things. I picked all the songs, the readings, plus the presentation/sermon. It was well received. If you are interested, go to: www.buxmontuu.org then click on "services" at the top of the page. Follow prompts to "past services" which will take you to podcasts. Mine was the June 7th one. It would be best to listen to the entire thing, as everything ties in together, so it's a total of 45 minutes.
Foot still painful, but in the sprain area. My suspicion is that the tendon/ligament damage was worse than thought. Using only a cane, but still painful by mid-afternoon.
Exhausted and must get to bed, will try to post over weekend.
Thanks for checking, Laurie

Laurie,
This was a nice service, I had some trouble with the audio [a lot of interference and a steady thumbing, you might want to check, if you get it also, the church could use to get it fixed, hard to hear some parts.]
I still stand by what I have said in the past. I think as you open up and start to talk about this, you will heal parts of yourself. However, more so I believe you will help others. You will help people who are going through a personal tragedy and think what they fell – that they are alone and a freak. Additionally you will help their family and friends understand some of why they get pushed away, and shut out. It will give those who care to take the time; it will give them an understanding of what is going on, and a better way to cope with the pain of being pushed away, and help them deal with - what seems from the outside - erratic way their loved one is acting.
What a blessing you are to others by sharing your experiences.
Deneen

I've been thinking about you lately. I will try to call next weekend! It's your turn to talk.
