FRIDAY August 18 - DAY 8 I just spoke to Laurie and she had just come back from the hosptial again, appears she had a growth around the incision that concerned her, so she had the hospital take a look at it and they told her it was "tissue remolding" nothing to really be concerned about. She is back at the B&B now and tires very quickly, which is to be expected. She is still hoping to be home in PA Tuesday or Wednesday - not certain of which day yet, will know more on Monday after she sees the doc..........I made her a little binder with all the blog updates and messages for each day from everyone and sent them overnight to her - this was the first time she had actually seen them since before she left for Boston - - SHE WAS VERY TOUCHED BY ALL THE COMMENTS AND SHE WANTED ME TO SEND YOU HER THANKS AND APPRECIATION FOR EXPRESSING THEM AND FOR KEEPING HER IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS - IT MEANS SO MUCH TO HER!

Great news indeed...home is where the real recovery takes place. I think it is much easier to get back on your feet while at home than it is in the hospital.

Hi Laurie,
I have been following your healing all the way and are very thankful that everything went well for you...
When you are more up to it, I'd love to talk. I am respecting your need to be quiet and peaceful now to aid in your recovery.
My warmest thoughts are with you.
I am sending you my favorite quote for us heart patients. We know:
"When the heart speaks, the soul listens"
Warmly,
